Police On The Hunt For Hillcrest Shooting Suspect

Police are on the hunt for a suspect following the shooting of a man in Hillcrest.

Police learned of the shooting after the victim showed up at Good Samaritan Hospital in Suffern after being shot in Hillcrest.

Ramapo police said the shooting took place around 9:40 p.m. Sunday on East Eckerson Road, said Det. Sgt. Brian Corbett.

The victim went to the hospital, with a single gunshot wound that is not considered life-threatening, he said.

The shooting is currently under investigation.
